The Plan

We are Koji & Amanda, empty-nesters working as a Technical Program Manager and Wound Care Nurse. Starting in October 2024 we plan to quit our jobs for a year and travel to New Zealand, Tasmania, Southern Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Madagascar. We plan to focus on hiking and wildlife viewing. At this point, the route is still being adjusted, some reservations have been made, and most of the gear has been purchased. We hope to have this space to invite friends and family to follow our journey and maybe help others to learn from our experiences.
